This piece is a redraw of a sketch I gave to my mother. The thought behind it is representing the sacrifices that guardians go through to protect ther young while still letting in enough outside factors for their child to thrive. Just as the taller flower bends over to break the fall of the raindrops, while letting the water run off and pool around the smaller flower so that they can grow.
